JULY 14: VIDA AT SLOAN'S LAKE

Join NAIOP on the afternoon of July 14 beginning at 3 PM for the next installment of the 2021 Project Tour & Case Study series featuring NAIOP’s Community Impact Development of the Year Award Honoree for 2021 - Vida at Sloan's Lake, developed by Denver Housing Authority.   

Vida at Sloan's Lake is a critical component of a $300 million redevelopment plan of the former St. Anthony Hospital site in the Sloan's Lake neighborhood on Denver's west side. Vida re-establishes critical primary care services in this low-income, medically underserved neighborhood, while also providing homes for many low-income seniors and disabled residents. Comprised of a seven-story, mixed-used building with 175 affordable housing units, Vida boasts over 26,000 SF of new medical to include an onsite medical clinic, dialysis center and Senior Activity Center. The building also features a 7,000 SF roof deck, providing residents with designated spaces for community gardening, cooking, group exercise, social gatherings and pet area.

Learn how Denver Housing Authority and their partners developed an innovative financing structure to provide a wide range of affordability and re-establish a medical presence in Sloan's Lake, allowing seniors and those with disabilities living on-site to age in place with amenities and services proven to positively impact their health and wellbeing.
