Leaders Real Estate Project Tour

Developing Leaders are invited the the first annual
DL Real Estate Project Tour. This year's tour showcases
Nexcore's recently completed Gateway Station in Golden.
Comprising nearly 3/4 of a city block, Gateway Station
is located at the corner of 13th & Washington in
downtown Golden. Phase I of this mixed-use project includes
34 luxury residences, 16,000 SF of retail space, 7,500
SF of office space and 55 below-grade parking stalls.
The event will kick off with an informative tour led
by the project developers and architects, followed by
a presentation by Nexcore on the project vision, the
successes and challenges and the involvement of the
Golden Urban Renewal Authority as well as other government
agencies. Following the tour, Developing Leaders will
enjoy additional networking time at a hosted Happy Hour
at the Blue Canyon Grill across the street from the
project. All DL's, NAIOP mentors, and young professionals
are encouraged to join us for an informative project
tour and conversation.

Green Series - The Green Wave... Are you Riding It?

Commercial
Real Estate Study
NAIOP Colorado is proud to announce the publication
of its inaugural study on the impact of commercial real
estate on Colorado's economy. A joint study by the University
of Colorado and the University of Denver finds that
the commercial real estate sector accounts for more
than 10 percent of Colorado's economy. Commercial real
estate generated $23.4 billion in 2006 economic impact,
with almost 70 percent coming from existing properties.
