In 2024, a previous client recommended Weitz to Formativ—a Denver-based real estate investment and development firm with more than 80 years of experience in commercial real estate. The introduction opened the door to discussions about partnering on Formativ’s newest multifamily project in Denver’s highly sought-after RiNo neighborhood.
Following the introduction, Formativ was invited to tour Skyline at Highlands, one of Weitz’s multifamily projects under construction at the time. The visit provided a first-hand look at our team’s expertise in managing complex urban developments, showcasing not only our focus on safety and quality of construction, but also our commitment to collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to deliver on schedule. Impressed by the scale and execution of the project, Formativ selected Weitz as the construction partner for their highly anticipated 3850 Blake Street development. The partnership quickly moved from vision to reality, with Weitz breaking ground on the project in June 2025.
3850 Blake is a 16-story, 310-unit residential building with more than 275,608 square feet.
This building will help address the city’s need for more affordable housing options, while contributing to the neighborhood’s ongoing growth and revitalization.
Blending style, convenience, and lifestyle-driven design, this new multi-family building is redefining what it means to live in the heart of Denver. Every home has been carefully crafted with modern comforts in mind, offering private in-unit laundry, full-size kitchen appliances, and smartly designed storage solutions that make daily living seamless.
But the true story unfolds beyond the front door. Residents will enjoy more than 12,000 square feet of amenities that blur the line between work, play, and relaxation. There are sleek coworking spaces, a vibrant resident lounge, and a private event and game room area. Wellness is a priority too, with state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor fitness facilities. A 6,000-square-foot year-round amenity deck with a pool, where unobstructed mountain views create the perfect backdrop for both relaxation and entertainment wrap up this project.
Location is another standout. 3850 Blake has direct access to the A-Line making it convenient to get to Union Station and Denver International Airport. It is perfect for commuters and travelers alike.
