Brinkmann Delivers Multifamily and Affordable Housing Projects Across Colorado

Tempo at Nine Mile Station

Brinkmann Constructors, in partnership with Mile High Development, Koelbel and Company, Urban Roots Development, Inc., and Draper and Kramer, Inc., recently completed the construction of a 255-unit multifamily community in Aurora, Colorado.

The 260,000-square-foot development consists of a six-story precast parking garage wrapped with five stories of wood-framed residential apartments, offering a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 542 to 1,321 square feet. The property also features a variety of premium amenities, including a large outdoor pool, community room, state-of-the-art fitness center, bike room, rooftop party deck, and 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. KTGY Architects served as the project architect.

Colorado Springs, Colorado 

Brinkmann Constructors, in partnership with Cohen-Esrey Development Group, recently completed the construction of a 160,000-square-foot, 113-unit affordable housing community in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This southeast Colorado Springs facility is the first of its kind to secure tax increment financing through an Urban Renewal Authority, receive development and utility fee rebates, and include 15 units reserved for low-income veterans referred by the Pikes Peak Continuum of Care. The development offers premium amenities typically found only in market-rate projects, including 19,000 square feet of below-grade parking, a dog wash station, a dog park, a bicycle room, a fitness room, a playground, and a community room with a patio. As a sustainable all-electric building, it features rooftop solar arrays and has achieved NGBS Bronze certification. Davis Partnership Architects served as the project architect.
