What a night it was on Thursday, November 13, at ReelWorks in Denver's vibrant RiNo district. NAIOP Colorado's signature event, Fight Night, lit up the venue with a perfect mix of late '90s neon vibes, top-tier networking, and adrenaline-charged boxing. Picture flip phones, frosted tips, and chart-topping throwbacks – an atmosphere that energized everyone from seasoned deal-makers to first-time attendees. The evening was proudly sponsored by CoStar Group, LoopNet, and Ten-X.
The biggest winner of the night was the Denver Children’s Foundation (DCF), which received over $44,000 through the Fight Night Raffle – a record-setting contribution for this annual event! DCF’s mission is to develop young business professionals into philanthropic leaders, and to impact the lives of children who need help. The foundation raises money to distribute to nonprofit organizations who are focused on four key areas of children's lives: education, health & wellbeing, child advocacy and personal enrichment.
The evening kicked off around 5:00 PM as VIP doors opened, cocktails flowed, and guests, decked out in black-tie cocktail attire, mingled under the glowing neon ambiance. By 6:30 PM, the audience was fully locked in. The lineup featured five bouts: two professional fights that delivered serious intensity and three amateur showdowns showcasing “Real Estate Ringers" from the industry, who trained tirelessly for weeks to earn their moment in the ring. The action wrapped with a high-energy main event at 9:00 PM, followed by an afterglow party that kept the celebration going well past 10:30 PM. Add in a raffle boasting more than $20,000 in prizes, including premium-perk Avalanche tickets, and the night delivered a seamless blend of fun, fists, and philanthropy.
PRO BOXING BOUTS
The professional fighters wasted no time setting the tone for the evening.
In the welterweight opener, Anthony Torres edged out Antonio Herrera with smart footwork and sharp counters, taking the win by decision after a gritty back-and-forth.
Then came the co-main for the NABA USA Super Welterweight Title: Michael Osumah versus Graham Tirrell. Osumah turned up the pressure in the later rounds, landing a barrage that forced a TKO after four, claiming the belt to the roar of cheers.
REAL ESTATE RINGER BOUTS
The real crowd-pleasers? The Real Estate Ringers who spent six rigorous weeks training with James “Smitty” Smith’s “Poor Boys Pro Boxing”
BOUT 1: Mike "Manos de Fierro" Ornelas from Forum Investment Group went toe-to-toe with Christian "El Banquero" Espinoza of Wintrust Bank. Ornelas kept the pressure without letting up, and Espinoza stood his ground but finally fell for a TKO in round three.
BOUT 2: Alex "The Ginger Assassin" Adams of Westside Investment Partners faced James "Sicario" Gutierrez from Alcorn Construction. Adams danced around the power shots, picking apart Gutierrez with clean technique to snag a unanimous decision at the end of three rounds.

BOUT 3: The closest fight of the night pitted Will "The Honey Badger" Klos of Quannah Partners against Andrew "Iron Andrew Ty-sung" Sung of SullivanHayes Brokerage. Klos came in fearless, but Sung's steady defense and timely counters carried the day, earning him a majority decision nod after a thriller.

Beyond the ring, the evening delivered classic NAIOP energy: high-level conversations over signature cocktails, bold visual nods to the Y2K era, and the electric sense of a community coming together for a great cause.
