2008 Election Update
November 4th, 2008 – Election Day – is fast approaching!

Absentee ballots will be sent soon and there is a lot to consider before YOU complete that ballot or step into the voting booth on November 4th...

Republican Senate candidate, Bob Schaffer, will speak about national issues of importance to the real estate industry and then answer questions from the audience.

In addition, there are several initiatives on the ballot in which you will be asked to vote. We will be sure to update you on any initiatives relevant to our industry including, but not limited to:

Right to Work
Labor Backed Initiatives
Severance Tax Initiative
Education: Amendment 23 & TABOR Reform
The SAFE Initiative: K-12 Education, Amendment 23 & TABOR Reform

Information will be provided that will help you understand the importance of and the potential impact that these initiatives will have on the future of our industry and Colorado. Be sure to attend this meeting and acquire the knowledge to help you make an “educated” vote.

Early registration deadline is Wednesday, August 6, at 5:00 PM. After that date, you may register on-site at the event on a space available basis. Please complete one registration form for each person attending. Payment must accompany registration. Faxing a copy of your check will not be accepted as payment. Confirmations will be emailed within 24-48 hours. If you do not receive a confirmation, you are not registered and will need to call the NAIOP office to follow up! Receipt of confirmation does not guarantee approval of credit card payment. Receipts are available to be picked up on-site on the day of the event. If your name badge is not picked up by 7:30 am on the day of the event, your reservation will be released. Cancellations must be received by the deadline to receive refund. Fees are due if notice of cancellation is not received.
